We are still accepting registrations.
Travel Bursaries
The local organisers of
GK2010
are pleased to announce that there are a few travel bursaries available (of
up to 100 Euro) that are open to all registered delegates, but preference
will be given to registered presenters with confirmed student status. In
exceptional circumstances, we may be able to offer more assistance to
registered presenting authors who may have difficulty in raising sufficient
funds to attend the symposium. For student or postdoctoral members of the
Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), 25 bursaries of £100 sterling, or Euro
equivalent, are also available, and on a first-come first-served basis.
Please make all
applications to
info@gk2010.be with the subject
"Bursaries" for non RSC applications and "RSC Bursaries" for RSC
applications. The allocation of these bursaries is at the discretion of the
local organisers of GK2010
and the committee of the Gas Kinetics Discussion Group of the Royal
Society of Chemistry, UK.

submission of (2nd round) abstracts for posters only :
31 May 2010*
●Communication
of the decision of the scientific committee :
within 10 days of receipt
●Deadline
for registration payment of presenting authors:
31 May 2010

For 2nd round (poster) abstract
submissions, having a deadline of 31 May, payment by presenting authors
should be received by 20 June. After this date all abstracts will be sent
for printing.
●Deadline
for registration payment (includes access to the welcome reception, the
symposium trip, and symposium banquet):
6 July 2010.
Note, due to potential delays
with bank transfers, after 15 June 2010
we recommend that payment for registration be done by credit card
(refer to the Registration page).
●For
delegates or guests, from whom payment is received after
6 July 2010,
it will be no longer possible to attend the welcome reception, symposium
trip, or symposium banquet; a reduced registration fee for delegates of
350€
will be, therefore, applicable. Guests of delegates will not be able to
register for the symposium social program after 6 July 2010.
●Delegates
may also pay in cash (Euros) or by credit card at the GK2010
desk at the symposium auditorium on Monday
19 July 2010.
Again, it will not be possible to attend the conference trip or banquet at
this stage.
