Registration
for the symposium is open.
The registration fee for GK2010
is 465€
for academic staff and
postdoctoral researchers, and 225€
for students with proof of student status. These fees are exempt from V.A.T.
See below for fees for accompanying guests who would like to participate in
the symposium's social events.
The
gk2010
local organisers are pleased to announce that there are now a few travel
bursaries available (of up to 100 Euro). Please refer to the "Announcements"
page for details.
The
registration fee includes: access to all scientific sessions;* a symposium
bag and accessories;* a book of abstracts together with access to the online
pdf version;* welcome reception at the Faculty Club on Sunday evening; food
and drinks during lunch, coffee breaks, and poster sessions;* the symposium
excursion on Tuesday afternoon together with a packed lunch; and the Polanyi
presentation and symposium banquet on Thursday evening. Accommodation is not
included in the symposium registration fee, but block reservations have been
secured in Leuven hotels and K. U. Leuven student accommodation.

If you pay by direct bank
transfer (see below) you need to register for the conference by copying all
the text between the lines below and paste it to the body of an email
message to
info@gk2010.be; duly filled in (the word
"Registration" should appear on the subject line). If you pay by VISA or
Mastercard/Eurocard (see below) your registration details should be given in
the provided form and faxed to the local organisers. Your registration will
be confirmed by email once payment has been received. Please also refer to
our privacy policy.

CANCELLATIONS : To cover the
cost of administration and pre-paid bookings to external agencies, all
cancellations of confirmed registrations are subject to a charge of
12%
before 20 April 2010
and after that until
1 June 2010
a fixed charge of 60€
will be levied. After 1 June 2010 no
refunds will made. Notice
of all cancellations should be sent to the local organisers via the email
address
info@gk2010.be, preferably with the word
"cancellation" in the subject line.

It
is possible to pay for
the symposium by direct bank transfer (one payment per delegate). All hotel
charges should be paid by the delegates to the hotel in question, either on
arrival or departure. Please note that the Arenberg residence is now fully
reserved.
